Industrial Nurse

Location: Western Region, Abu Dhabi, UAE

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Industrial Nurse to provide occupational health services and promote employee well-being within our workplace. The Industrial Nurse will be responsible for administering first aid, managing workplace health programs, ensuring compliance with occupational health standards, and supporting a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first aid and emergency medical care to employees for work-related and non-work-related illnesses and injuries.
  • Assess, document, and monitor employee health conditions and treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate health and medical records while ensuring confidentiality.
  • Conduct health assessments and assist with pre-employment, periodic, and return-to-work medical examinations.
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers, clinics, and hospitals as required.
  • Administer prescribed medications and vaccinations according to company policies.
  • Support health promotion initiatives, wellness programs, and occupational health campaigns.
  • Monitor workplace health risks and assist in implementing preventive health measures.
  • Participate in incident investigations and provide recommendations to prevent recurrence.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare reports related to employee health trends, injuries, and health program effectiveness.
  • Assist in emergency preparedness and response activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of nursing experience, preferably in occupational health, industrial, manufacturing, construction, or corporate settings.
  • Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and electronic medical record systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Occupational Health Nursing certification.
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, oil & gas, construction, or logistics environments.
  • Training in workplace ergonomics, health surveillance, and emergency response.
