Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and hands-on Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist / Team Lead to oversee our end-to-end recruitment operations. In this role, you will lead our talent acquisition team, optimize hiring workflows, and drive sourcing strategies to attract top-tier professionals.
As a key partner to our operations, you must possess deep expertise in the UAE healthcare recruitment landscape, specifically navigating the licensing and compliance frameworks of DOH, DHA, and MOHAP. The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership capabilities with a data-driven approach to talent acquisition.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
Team Guidance: Lead, mentor, and elevate the performance of the recruitment team, ensuring targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) are consistently met.
Process Optimization: Design, implement, and refine robust end-to-end recruitment workflows, utilizing automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, advanced ATS systems) to streamline candidate tracking and onboarding.
Stakeholder Management: Partner closely with executive leadership, department heads, and operational managers to understand manpower requirements, deliver data-driven market insights, and manage candidate pipelines.
Healthcare Compliance & Licensing
Regulatory Liaison: Act as the subject matter expert on UAE healthcare regulations, verifying that all selected medical and clinical staff meet the specific compliance criteria for DOH (Abu Dhabi), DHA (Dubai), and MOHAP (Northern Emirates).
Credentialing & Onboarding: Oversee the primary source verification (Dataflow) process, exam bookings, and the successful conversion or transfer of professional licenses.
Risk Management: Ensure strict adherence to local labor laws and health authority guidelines to mitigate compliance risks during the hiring and onboarding phases.
Sourcing & Talent Pipeline
Advanced Sourcing: Utilize advanced sourcing techniques, including Boolean search, X-ray logic, and professional networking platforms to build a robust pipeline of active and passive talent.
Vendor & Partner Management: Coordinate and manage relationships with external recruitment agencies, licensing consultancies, and universities for career fairs and talent initiatives.
Employer Branding: Represent the organization at industry events, employment expos, and open days to position the company as an employer of choice.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience: Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior supervisory capacity.
Industry Expertise: Proven track record in healthcare recruitment within the UAE is mandatory.
Licensing Knowledge: Thorough, up-to-date knowledge of the regulations, processes, and licensing pathways for DOH, DHA, and MOHAP.
Technical Proficiency: Advanced experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), CRM tools, and HR automation workflows.
Communication: Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and English communication skills (written and verbal).
Analytical Mindset: Ability to track, analyze, and present recruitment metrics (e.g., Time-to-Hire, Cost-per-Hire, pipeline velocity) to senior leadership.
